Dubai International · Terminal 3

Emirates has one hub, and nearly every journey passes through it. You fly from the U.S. to Dubai, change planes in Terminal 3 — built only for Emirates — and continue.

About two thirds of the world's population lives within an eight-hour flight of Dubai, which is why one stop is usually enough.

  • India and South AsiaAround three hours beyond Dubai, with many daily flights to major cities.
  • AfricaOne of the widest African networks of any non-African airline.
  • Southeast Asia and AustraliaBangkok, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne from Dubai.
  • Two U.S.–Europe flightsNew York to Milan and Newark to Athens are sold as stand-alone trips.

The A380, the way it was meant to be

Emirates flies more A380s than every other airline combined, and it used the space. The upper deck is all premium cabins, with a walk-up lounge at the back.

  • Onboard loungeA stand-up bar for Business and First passengers at the rear of the upper deck.
  • Shower in the skyFirst Class on the A380 has two shower spas — still unique among major airlines.
  • ice entertainmentOne of the largest in-flight libraries, in every cabin, with films in dozens of languages.

Four cabins from Economy to First

Premium Economy is the newest cabin and is not yet on every aircraft, so check your flight. Business seats also differ between the A380 and older 777s.

Checked, U.S. routes 2 × 23 kg

Six tips for cheaper Emirates fares

01

Add a Dubai stopover

Stopping for a few days often costs little or nothing extra on the fare, and breaks up a very long journey.

02

Compare Saver with Flex

Saver fares are cheapest but charge for changes. Flex costs more and gives a bigger bag allowance.

03

Check the aircraft

If you want the A380 lounge or the newest Business seat, confirm the aircraft before booking.

04

Avoid peak holiday dates

Fares to India climb sharply around Diwali, December and the summer school break.

05

Try the Europe flights

New York–Milan and Newark–Athens can be good-value ways to cross the Atlantic.

06

Ask about phone-only fares

Our agents can sometimes access fares that do not appear online, especially for families.
